When I need to think, I walk and take photos: weaving in and out of ruelle vertes; making pit stops at cafés to read; sitting in parks; and absorbing the unique, but interconnected character of each neighbourhood.
Montréal is made up of 19 arrondissements and, depending on whom you ask, between 32 and 77 quartiers. The Arrondissements of Montréal is an ongoing project that attempts to illuminate small corners of the city and, hopefully, encourage others to explore beyond their neighbourhood.
